The Paloma Rheem Group is the only “Air & Water” company of its kind offering both air conditioning equipment (Air) and water heaters (Water) globally. The Group consists of Paloma, a Japanese-headquartered business, and Rheem, a United States-headquartered business, each with roots dating back more than 100 years. The Group has approximately 16,000 employees, operates across 85 countries, and has achieved sales of approximately 900 billion yen (US$6 billion) in the fiscal year ending December 2023. We are united by a common mission of supporting people's safe, secure, and comfortable lives worldwide.

Decarbonizing Energy Infrastructure

Air and Water consume approximately 70% of energy by households. As the world’s energy infrastructure must undergo radical transformation to keep up with rising demand of decarbonization, unprecedented innovation will be needed to support such efforts and is expected across our products and services.

The Paloma Rheem Group is committed to continuing to develop and market sustainable products which utilize ecological technologies, such as heat pumps, and will play an active role in helping society achieve its decarbonization goals through our Air & Water businesses.

As we advance, we will continue to focus on generating value by embracing the AI and IoT technologies, while further refining our own monozukuri culture and systems, by building our own production lines in-house, and striving for thorough quality control to ensure safety and security for our customers.

Holding Company Structure and Global Strategy

As the world of manufacturing becomes borderless, domestic and overseas operations are becoming more inseparable. We established Paloma Rheem Holdings in October 2023 to oversee the execution of our global business strategy and to solve increasingly complex social issues with an aim to remain a sustainable company into the future.

I have a strong desire to execute global strategies originating from Paloma Rheem Group. By nurturing and attracting world-class talent, Paloma Rheem Group can be positioned as a center of excellence for manufacturing and R&D.

And globally, we are focusing on driving the expansion of our product offerings and capitalizing on the increasing demand for energy-efficient solutions. Simultaneously, we are proactively seeking opportunities to acquire cutting-edge technologies that contribute to decarbonization efforts and support the long-term growth of our business.
